Three different stories from within a few kilometres of each other.
The “Marigolds,” is a story of a farmer who grows marigolds for living. Flowers are not just objects of beauty for him. They pay his bills and sustain his family.
The mother and child in “The Brat,” also depend on marigold flowers for their living. She makes garlands of marigold flowers which are used for worshipping God. Her child doesn’t understand God or money, he wants his mother’s undivided attention.
“The Shepherd,” is the story of a man and his goats from the dusty plains of north India.
