Delhi transforms into a vibrant festive place during Christmas. Cultural performances and live music add to the holiday charm. Markets are illuminated with sparkling fairy lights, illuminated bells and bows, and neon-wrapped trees light up the city. Christmas trees decorated with ornaments are set up, and Christmas bazaars are held in markets. Bada Din, as it is popularly known in Hindi, is much more than a religious festival. The celebration transcends religion as people of all faiths embrace it.

Christmas celebrations, shaped by communities and diverse traditions across India, make it special. Christmas feasts in India are a blend of local flavours, depending on the geography. Local Indian recipes are shared along with traditional Christmas cakes. Hymns and carols are sung in different Indian languages.
