Abstract photography is non-objective, experimental and conceptual photography. An abstract photograph can be created by isolating a fragment of the object or a scene. It could be created by using colour, light, shadow, texture, or shape of an obejct/objects.

“Abstract photography is not representational. It might explore the texture or detail of everyday objects, or make you think of something else.”

-Tina Tryforos(professor and photographer)
