The night was darker than usual. A thunderstorm had hit Delhi that night. Sona, the one-day-old baby, was very scared. “I have never ever experienced anything like this in my life,” she told her mother. Mama gave Sona a big, warm hug and said, “Don’t worry, my mother once told me that decades ago, there was a huge, huge thunderstorm, no one believed that we could survive, but we did.”
