“Why?” Gandhi looks at the coffee. “Is it cold?”

She pauses and counts on her fingers.

“I spent my life telling people they don’t need so much.”
She shakes her head.
“That won’t get you a brand deal, Bapu!” Pauses, “Actually, you could be huge on Instagram.”
“Huh?”
“On Instagram, Bapu.”
“What would I do?”
“Reels. Every day. Your lifestyle. Your thoughts.”
Gandhi looks down at his dhoti. “This is my lifestyle.”
“Perfect. Minimalism is trending.”
“And the spinning wheel?”
“Vintage content.”
“And non-violence?”
“Very niche.”
“And truth?”
She hesitates.
“Depends on the algorithm.”
“????”
“Something that decides what people should see.”
“A new Viceroy?”
She points her phone at him. “Bapu, just one reel. Say something inspirational.”
“Be the change you want to see.”
Her eyes light up. “Brilliant! This will go viral.”
Gandhi looks at her phone.
“And what will you do?”
“Post it.”
“Will you become the change?”
She lowers the phone.
“Let’s not get political, Bapu.”
Within minutes, the reel has ten million views.
